The Michigan Department of Education has approved FIRST Robotics as an activity to earn high school elective credit.
Schools can choose to issue credit on student transcripts, similar to how transfer credits are added to a transcipt. In addition, the FIRST Badges Development team is working to create badges to allow students to earn credit for the Michigan Graduation Requirements for the 3rd credit of science and/or the 4th credit of math.
